Science and Senses!

 

In our Room 3 and 4 bubble we have been learning all about the science behind our senses. We had a great lesson with Miss Peterson using jelly beans to test our senses and we made sherbet fizz that had a salty, sour, bitter or sweet taste depending on how well we followed instructions. Well Check out Jan's moves in this video (he's a pretty good dancer) he accepted the challenge and is awaiting for his next opponent. Room 3 are recording themselves for an online dance battle.

Lock Down - Staying Connected!

We have been doing some awesome online learning for the past 2 weeks. It has been heart-warming seeing everyone's smiling faces while we are locked up in our homes! The most important thing for us to do is to look out for one another and stay connected at all times! Check on your friends and your loved ones and have some fun while you have all this free time in the house! Play games, have dance competitions, singing battles and have a lot of laughs!

Cook Island Language Week 2021

 Term 3 - Week 2 

Kia Orana! This week was Cook Island Language week. We learnt how to introduce ourselves in Cook Islands Maori and create some Tivaevae which is a special Cook Island handmade quilt given as gifts and made with love! Watch our video below to see how well we did! Meitaki
